This is my Paco, last year on a walk in the snow. Now... don't be all "Shouldn't he have a jacket? Shouldn't he have little Pug boots?" because I've spent a LOT of money, even having a custom made coat made for him, and he'll have none of it! He does like a quick walk if the wind is damp and cold and howling, but as long as he gets a good snuggle when he comes in, (and he does) he's happier au natural!
I painted this, then had fun flinging the big 'flakes' of snow. The texture was fun ;)
Fantastic!!! Would make a great holiday card too!
ReplyDeleteYou got the cold blue light perfect!
ReplyDeleteBut is this a day 19 or 20 posting? I'm so confused!
Love, love, love all your Pacos but this one really warms my heart!
ReplyDeleteOh I do love how you've handled the snow; you've beautifully captured the feel of cold too. I have a small terrier mix and while he will wear a coat, he chews them up so he is between coats now. He freezes his little butt off out there. Speaking of butts, nice shot of Paco! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat snow painting! And you nailed Paco's cute little butt! (I'm proud of him that he won't wear a coat! He's got enough moxie to keep him warm!)
ReplyDeleteThis is the view we have here right now - minus the Pug, lol!
ReplyDeleteSnow everywhere! This is a gorgeous painting :0)
Oh my gosh,,,This is spectacular!!!!

Love a snowy Paco. He's awesome and so is his mistress.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little pug butt! Love this! (I wanted to let you know that I tried to link to your blog from Leslie's page, but kept getting an error message saying your blog was not found. Since I am following your blog, I linked from my blog roll and was immediately directed here. Problem definitely seems to be link on Leslie's blog)
ReplyDeleteOh! This is so cute! :-) His paws must be cold.
ReplyDeleteSnow speckles! This is wonderful, Kelley!
ReplyDeleteKelley, I LOVE this! I can really feel the cold, and I don't know how you did it, but there's also the feeling of a cup of hot tea and a cozy crackling fire waiting at home to warm his little feet by. Great snow!
ReplyDeleteHi! love your painting! You have others who aren't sold yet?
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few others! This one is sold, but if you look through the month of January 2013, there are quite a few... maybe they would interest you? If you send me your email address to kcareymac@hotmail.com I can send you the images I have left still after my Open Studio this weekend!
