There's something so cheerful about these flowers, and they are the sure sign, for me, that Spring has arrived. I was left in the dust by my inspiration here, but like the result anyway.
My Challenge group, Girls Just Wanna Paint, had our meeting this week and we had a 'prop swap'. I got a Dreamcatcher, which will be a challenge to paint... but I am up to it! I was thinking of posting some photos from the meeting, but only a couple of us are photogenic ( NOT me). Would you like to see them?
Stunning! I really like that mix of blue, purple and yellow.
ReplyDeleteLove daffodils and fun for me to get to see them again through you. Ours have come and gone-these have wonderful petals and love the value shifts.
ReplyDeleteOf course we want to see pictures of the GJWP artists having their...meeting? Great idea on the prop swap!
I like the light at the bottom of the vase, the way you loved your tea in the cup a few days ago. Unified!
ReplyDeleteLove this painting--daffodils make my heart sing. Yes, I want to see pictures of the prop swap.
ReplyDeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteyou are great at capturing the essence of things.
YES, love to see pics and love the yellow daffodils...so sunny.
ReplyDeleteGreat daffodils Kelley! I find these little guys challenging - love your warm and cool yellows - perfect form : )) (and super cheery)
ReplyDeleteI love the design of this and all those dancing petals....really nice!
ReplyDeleteKelley, I love this daffodil painting. It's so much fun to know what's blooming now in New England-here in the south it's magnolias right now.
ReplyDeleteYES-I'd love to see the meeting photos and it sounds as if everyone else does too. And Yes, you are photogenic.
Kelley these are so fab! Love the brightness and bold colors. Spring is in the air.
