It's been a tough winter.  In so many ways.  And I am so blessed to have a plethora (I always love to use that word!) of bouquets to surround myself with around my birthday.  This one, has daffodils, tulips and pussy willows... bursts of color and gentle shapes and contrasting textures.

I have hope.  I always need to feel it - and this year maybe more than others.  And love.  

"Faith, Hope and Love... and the Greatest of these is Love".  Be bolstered by it.

Nothing says 'Spring' like flowers!  I find it very hopeful to see yellow and blue bursts in the gardens and sides of the road.  In the language of flowers, Daffodils (even the mini's) means a few things - one of them being "You're The Only One".  Hyacinths - and these are Grape Hyacinths (blue) means "Constancy".  So I think they go well together, as a message as well as visually!  I love love loved painting the green glass mini bottle, too.  Picked it up at Brimfield, and it's a treasure.

I've been working at my 'other' job a lot lately, and that's a good thing because I like to eat, and turn lights on in my house!!!  :D BUT I did take a day out for fun, and met a couple of friends, and went to the Museum of Fine Art in Boston.  We took a rather unfortunate 'selfie', which I can post tomorrow if you want to see it.  Let me know.

There's something so cheerful about these flowers, and they are the sure sign, for me, that Spring has arrived.  I was left in the dust by my inspiration here, but like the result anyway.

My Challenge group, Girls Just Wanna Paint, had our meeting this week and we had a 'prop swap'.  I got a Dreamcatcher, which will be a challenge to paint... but I am up to it!  I was thinking of posting some photos from the meeting, but only a couple of us are photogenic ( NOT me).  Would you like to see them?
