This is for Karin Jurick's DSFDF Challenge - a statue of Diana, I think. I did it the day before Paco, but now that I upload it I see that her left leg is pointed in the wrong direction. Well, I have a full day today (introducing Paco to some painting friends) so I'll try to correct this in the studio tomorrow. Funny how you can look at something and it looks OK, then when you look at it in a photo anything that's 'off' glares out at you. New Paco photos soon - I promise. He's so smart and cute!

The sculptural forms are very nice and I often throw things up on the computer to see what might be wrong. waiting to see Paco....
ReplyDeleteGood job on this, Kelley, even if her leg is pointed in the wrong direction (I don't think I would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out!) I like your subject placement, and I especially like the touch of blue in the shadowy areas.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more Paco pics!
Great job Kelley!
ReplyDeleteOMG.... I know what you're talking about! I see all my mistakes when I post something, I don't know how many times I've spelt something incorrectly in my work and I catch it on the blog...... what a pain!
Can't wait to see new pics of Paco!
Hi, Kelly -I've missed several posts (think my dashboard isn't updating) This is beautiful. Her legs look right to me!
ReplyDeleteAlso --Paco is adorable! Congratulations!

Really nice job, Kelley, I like the soft look of it.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have noticed either. I think you did a fine job with an extremely difficult subject.
