Jump! 5x7 Inch Original Oil Painting by Kelley MacDonald

SOLD
I'm using photos I took at Laguna Beach a few years ago to work on some paintings about kids at the beach.  I figure it'll take my mind off the cold here!  I'm also warming up for a figure class I'm taking at the Providence Art Club.  I've always loved figures but never did too much with them.  It'll be fun!
Also my classes are starting next Thursday at my studio in Warren, RI.  It's beginner+ level, and I still have a couple of spots left.  I'm keeping it small, because that way everyone gets attention.  Email me at kcareymac@hotmail.com for info!

  2. Oh the stories this painting tells! Its amazing! To me it symbolizes the anticipation and excitement of some new journey, or just the thrill of making a new discovery. That feeling that we are so small, and everything ahead of us is so big and enchanting... Very nice!

  7. Great composition, the way the foam moves back and forth to the boy. His reflections are good, too.
