When you stack stones like this there is supposed to be an energy that appears. Whether that's true or not I always want to make a wish when I stack them. These stones are from Briggs Beach in Little Compton, RI, and if you've ever been there you know they're a little magic ;). I'm sending out my wishes for a couple of friends that really need them today. This turned out quite photo-realistic... not how I planned it!
ETA: No 'black' paint was used in the preparation of this painting!
I love stones and rocks and have baskets of them around the house. I love this painting, to me it is very spiritual. Jeanne
ReplyDeleteI agree and the texture on these stones is wonderful, the bottom one is almost pearl like.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeanne, I feel the same way, there's a spiritual sense to it. Pat, so wonderful coming from YOU! The white stones WERE luniescent... which is why I groaned when I set them up under the light... :)
