Oh, Hull...., 5x7 Inches, Oil Painting of Hull, Ma

$125 & $10 S&H

I loved living in Hull, MA.  The sky is like a light show come sunset.  It is a magical peninsula, where you can see the ever changing light on the oceanside AND the bay side.  And there are many evenings when the pink of the sunset sky reflects on the wet sand of the sea side.  Pink, orange, pink - oh, it just SENDS me!  And the little glittering lights going through the town - to me it looks like a diamond necklace, laying on the ground...  You should go there... see this....
p.s. THREE squirrels were removed from my studio this weekend  Uncountable props broken.  Explains the lack of paintings from the past week, no?

  3. Oh Hull...I want to go there. Your painting and your description "like a diamond necklace, laying on the ground...are the perfect invitation.
As for the squirrels in you studio Kell, the only good one in the studio is "vincent van squirrel" one who can pick up a paintbrush and paint. Think such squirrel paintings could go for millions in a New York gallery. If elephants can paint why not squirrels, no?

I wouldn't mind getting a summer place there ( ya right)

  5. This painting is soooo beautiful. Sorry about the critters in your studio. Just the cleanup alone is time consuming and then I KNOW you lost some great props. Give Paco a hug for me.

  9. Any similarity to a diamond necklace is always a good thing-especially if combined with sand, sea, and a glowing pink sky! Very nice painting, Kelley

  14. Glad you got all in order... This painting is sooo lovely and your feelings about Hull come across brilliantly. My Dear Mother had a squirrel problem --the solution included a plank and a bucket of water, (oh the horror!) But they are no more.
