At Pemaquid Point, I believe. A devilishly hot day, with gorgeous blue water and slab-y rocks. I know the rocks were gray but I could see all kinds of color in them.

Paintings of every little thing, and all the important big things as well. My view. My inspiration.....
Yes, looks like Pemaquid Point with all those rocks. Nice color.
ReplyDeletevery nice- you've captured the slabbiness of those rocks!
ReplyDeleteLovely Kelley. I've seen those amazing colors in the rocks too. Isn't it wonderful to have the eyes of an artist?
ReplyDeletelove the perspective and the colorful "gray" rocks. Very nice painting, Kelley.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Motivating me to go down to my studio NOW to start my beach series. Don't you just love summer!
ReplyDeleteThose rocks are just right for sitting on, Kelley. And I love your blue sea. We had winter rains and the sea outside is very stormy with angry foamy waves!
ReplyDeleteCool painting Kelley, I like the angel of the rocks. I have a hard time believing it was devilishly hot, good thing you were by the water.
ReplyDeleteLove all the color in the rocks! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteKelley, love the almost monotone color scheme of these last two paintings! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI missed seeing your new paintings, glad you are back - this looks great - these rocks look right on!
ReplyDeleteNicely done and these are HARD to DO.
ReplyDeleteI the perspective on this one, Kelley. Almost like we're seeing the edge from your view!
