First Painting Day, Karin Jurick Workshop


This is today's work at the workshop.  Nice expectant mom cooling off in the shallow water.  
Karin is SUCH an inspiring teacher!  I'm in gorgeous Hilton Head, SC.  It's beautiful, warm and full of great things to paint.  

Just thought everyone back home would like to know... I didn't lose ANYTHING today.  A first. :D

    Gorgeous painting! I love the skin tones and all the light and shadow in her. You captured such a sweet mooment with her. I adore the way you painted the rolling ocean in the background and the calmer water at her ankles! Love the reflection. Kelley Mac you can paint!

    Excellent! Your brushstrokes are awesome, the colors in the water are so deep an interesting. You nailed the figure and the dress. I'm so glad you got to experience Karin, she really is inspiring isn't she! Annnd I'm glad you made it there is one piece.
