It's just been delightful weather here in Rhode Island. Today I think it's 65 degrees! Flowery kind of weather, but my garden fell to a frost last week. It's such a busy time of year - hey.. OK girlfriends.... when ISN'T it a busy time of the year? Ever wonder?
Well, with pumpkin bread in the oven and the sun setting early, it's a lovely Fall day. Paco and I took full advantage of it when we went to Fall River to drop off a donation to the Fall River Historical Society. We walked for blocks - scampered, actually, in the leaves. While we like tidy yards and streets, we can't help ourselves when we see piles of leaves!!!
Kelley, love this spectacular flower, so beautiful with the shadow! So glad to hear the happiness in your message!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue reflections, the shadows and vibrant blues and yellows. Great painting!
ReplyDeleteI think I am the only one who loves to see a yard with all the fallen leaves lying about. And I am a neat freak, yet this I love. Glad you had a good day and the yellow/blue complementary scheme is magnificent. What a great little bud bottle this is!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful painting to wake up to Kelley. Just gorgeous. And sounds like you had a most glorious Monday. Forgot to put the FRHS on my calendar and oops...didn't drop off.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue in your bottle. Perfect! The yellow flower is a perfect compliment to the strong blue.
ReplyDeleteHope the rest of your week is as good as it started off.
love how you handled the blue vase!
