Another painting for the Holiday rush! I had a lot of fun with the distortion of the 2nd bottle in the glass. Now... some folk (my husband) like their beer out of a nice glass. Others (moi, for the one beer a year I drink) like it right out of a cold bottle. You?
I loved examining the reflective surface that I put the beer and the glass on - its a classic case (thank you Carol Marine) of painting exactly what you see. NOT what you know!
Can you stand a couple more of these alcohol-themed paintings? Cause after this I'm heading into donut land, and THEN a surprise on Monday (hint: it's based on my recent trip to Santa Fe...)
Nice job on the glass, but I especially like the labels.. just enough detail without being too detailed. Very appealing.
ReplyDeleteUne très jolie peinture... J'aime la manière que vous avez réussi à peindre cette bouteille à travers le verre... Une manière tonique que de commencer la journée en admirant votre toile !!!...
ReplyDeleteBravo, excellent travail.
Gros bisous
Neither my husband nor I drink much but I sure remember these bottles in my extended family barbecues. You did a great job with this subject, Kelley!
ReplyDeleteI love to start my day with a couple of buds!
ReplyDeleteWow and Wow--super job of painting. Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOut of the bottle for me, a glass for David. Painting what you see....what a skill! Love it.
