I love everything about this one Kelley. Beautiful color and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteLove your little nests and all the spring feelings of hope and home that they evoke. This one is just sweet and love the gorgeous colors.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this painting--the periwinkle blue of the background, the soft blue of the eggs, and the colors of the nest. You've woven the colors in a very believable safe haven for our feathered friends.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet. I like all the different colors in the nest.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting Kelley. I love the peaceful feeling one gets from the different blues in this painting. I especially am drawn to the wonderful brushstrokes in the nest and titches of yellow and orange of the twigs. You definitely accomplished the comfortable safe feeling you were looking for. :-D
ReplyDeleteThe colors in this piece are so fresh and serene. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is very sweet..and for all the reasons you mention Kelley..A perfect rainy day to view your painting and stay home on this rainy day nesting in the studio
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful full nest~ full of hope and new life
ReplyDeleteKelley, Such beautiful blues, I love this, and what sweet words to go along with the lovely painting!
ReplyDeletejust lovely kelley! beautifully done!
ReplyDeletesweetness and light! You are the best!
ReplyDeleteHeard you on the AHA show the other day. I love how you've captured the strong structure of the nest and the softness of the inside with your color and temperature choices, looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a robin's egg, but I've heard of robin's egg blue all my life. It's a beautiful color. I love how it is juxtaposed against the warm colors in the nest. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI love your little nest, love you tackled the browns in the nest itself. BTW, I hope Paco didn't eat the baby bird after it popped out of the pretty little egg, HA!
