Daffodil Days, 6x6 Acrylic

SOLD
There's something so cheerful about these flowers, and they are the sure sign, for me, that Spring has arrived.  I was left in the dust by my inspiration here, but like the result anyway.

My Challenge group, Girls Just Wanna Paint, had our meeting this week and we had a 'prop swap'.  I got a Dreamcatcher, which will be a challenge to paint... but I am up to it!  I was thinking of posting some photos from the meeting, but only a couple of us are photogenic ( NOT me).  Would you like to see them?

  2. Love daffodils and fun for me to get to see them again through you. Ours have come and gone-these have wonderful petals and love the value shifts.
Of course we want to see pictures of the GJWP artists having their...meeting? Great idea on the prop swap!

  3. I like the light at the bottom of the vase, the way you loved your tea in the cup a few days ago. Unified!

  9. Kelley, I love this daffodil painting. It's so much fun to know what's blooming now in New England-here in the south it's magnolias right now.
YES-I'd love to see the meeting photos and it sounds as if everyone else does too. And Yes, you are photogenic.
