Red Gerbera Daisies II, 6x6, Oil

Here's a second take on those red Gerbera daisies.  I couldn't figure out why they were so stiff looking - and I realized I put them in the vase with the green plastic tubes on their stems which keep them from wilting! *sigh* Pay attention, Kelley!

  1. Great painting! I like its color harmony as well as how its shadow was portrayed. Great work! By the way, if you have or haven't known I have this painting blog, you might want to check it out if you have time. Thanks!

  3. This brightens up my day. You are on a roll. Stymied about painting due to house and wedding and college. Took my paints to work yesterday. Will at least paint during lunch!

Susan, sometimes when there's too much going on it is so HARD to paint, no? Good luck...
