This was inspired by a walk in the dunes at Rexhame Beach in Marshfield, MA. Such a chilly, windy day today I had to post a memory of a sunny, warm day! Did the last drop off today of paintings in Dedham, MA at this wonderful shop called "Nest". Yeah, OK, I shopped while I was there! And, in theory, the things I bought were for other people. It remains to be seen if I have the fortitude to actually give them away as gifts - I loved everything in the store! Hey, I don't get out a lot to shop. When I find a cool shop I'm in HEAVEN!
So... if you're in the area, check it out: 622 High Street in Dedham, MA!
Thank you for sharing the warm memory! It's a lovely painting -

ReplyDeleteI love your beach paintings kelley
Nest looks cool too!
I think you really nailed the colors for a wonderful day on the beach!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wish I was there now! Love your blues and the house on the left.
ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous scene, Kelley! So unlike the flat beaches of the Texas coastal plain. That's another of the pleasures of viewing artist blogs around the country.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for some beach weather!!! It is a beautiful painting! Love the blues and I just want to live in that house.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach scene. Colors convey a mood for sure.
ReplyDeleteLove, love this painting.
ReplyDeleteI came here through Kim Rempel's blog. I must say your paintings are also very fascinating.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
A nice peaceful feeling.
ReplyDeleteI did a painting from the same spot, only summer...LOL, it's on my blog, also. Great location. And nice winter scene, Kelly.
